This is a response to this Hacker News Post
On 03/26/12 I sent the following email

and I received this response
I then gave them all the cards i used in the process so that they could zero them out (except for my actual balance).
After that I received a phone call from their headquarters, and I helped one of the application developers reproduce the race condition bug. They were finally able to reproduce and patched the bug the next day. I tested it and it seemed fixed.
The reason why I am posting this is because this is unacceptable... Starbucks has one of the largest giftcard systems in the world and the fact that they already "fixed" this massive issue in the past makes me very upset that i wasted my time helping them...
